Redeem a Springbok coupon in six steps

The routine is the same for the free chip and for the deposit codes; only the last step changes.

   Choose the code for what you plan to do

   A free look around with no deposit: TEST-SPRINGBOK. A first deposit: SPRINGBOK100. A second or third deposit: SPRINGBOK50. A bigger match on a deposit you choose: SPRINGBOK300. Read the wagering and the cap on the ticket before you go any further.

   Copy it exactly

   Use a Copy button in the coupon vault so the code goes in exactly as written. TEST-SPRINGBOK has a hyphen, and the deposit codes end in numbers that are easy to mistype.

   Log in and open the cashier

   Register first if you are new. The cashier is where deposits, withdrawals and coupons are handled. Springbok says the casino runs in the browser on computers and phones with one account, so the same steps apply on a phone.

   Pick Redeem Coupon, not a payment method

   Redeem Coupon is its own option in the cashier. Going straight to a payment method is how a bonus gets lost: the deposit goes through with no coupon attached, and it cannot be added later.

   Paste the code and confirm it. If the cashier shows an error, stop here and do not deposit until you know why; the coupon not working guide lists the usual causes.

   Deposit, if the code needs one

   TEST-SPRINGBOK needs no deposit. For the deposit codes, pay next with a method whose minimum covers your amount. Springbok's articles put the minimum at R25 for the welcome codes and R20 for SPRINGBOK300, but every payment method on Springbok's banking page starts higher.

Why the coupon goes in before the deposit

The rule is in Springbok's T&Cs: a coupon has to go through Redeem Coupon in the cashier before you deposit, and it cannot be added to a deposit afterwards. Verified In practice, a deposit made first is an ordinary deposit with no bonus, and entering the code afterwards does not change it.

That is not always bad news. A deposit without a coupon carries none of the bonus rules: no 30x wagering on deposit plus bonus, no R100 limit per bet, no cashout cap, and no list of games you must stick to. The T&Cs only ask that a deposit is wagered once before it can be withdrawn. Springbok's cashback offer, too, applies only to deposits made without a bonus. If you would rather play freely, leaving the coupon out is a reasonable choice.

Which code goes with which deposit

From Springbok's promotions page and T&Cs. The deposit codes' wagering is the T&Cs default, which applies because the promotions page states none.

The monthly free-spins coupon, SCARYSCARY (25 free spins on Seahorse Surge, until 31 October 2026; source: a Springbok press release), goes through the same Redeem Coupon route. Springbok's press release does not say whether it needs a deposit, so check the cashier's confirmation before you pay anything. Using more than one Springbok coupon

It is easy to end up holding several codes: the free chip first, then the welcome package, perhaps SPRINGBOK300 later. Springbok's pages set the order for the welcome codes but say little about combining offers, so take them one at a time:

• Follow the welcome order. SPRINGBOK100 belongs to your first deposit and SPRINGBOK50 to the second and third. The promotions page presents them as one package spread over three deposits, so redeem the right one before each of those deposits.
• Let one bonus finish before the next. A second deposit bonus taken while the first is still being played through means both sets of wagering stand between you and a withdrawal.
• Ask before you mix offers. Springbok does not publish whether SPRINGBOK300 sits alongside the welcome codes on one account, or whether using the free chip changes what you can claim later. One question to live chat before you redeem is quicker than a refused code.
• Keep a simple note. Write down each code, the date you redeemed it and the deposit it went with. Support questions become quick to answer, and you can see at a glance how much you have put in so far.

Checks before and after you redeem

Most coupon trouble starts with Springbok's general bonus rules, not with the code itself. Run through these before your first bet:

• No withdrawal pending. The T&Cs hold back new bonuses while a withdrawal is waiting to be processed, so deal with that before you redeem anything.
• The bonus is showing. Look at your balance before you bet. If the bonus is missing, tell support in writing before you place a bet; under the T&Cs, disputes about account activity have to reach them within one hour.
• Bets stay at R100 or less. That is the maximum bet on any bonus, and winnings from bigger bets are voided.
• Only games that count. The T&Cs list 7 Stud Poker, bingo games, European Slot Poker, keno, Pai Gow Poker, scratch cards and all slots, but the lobby we checked had only the slots and keno from that list. Leave the tables and video poker alone while a bonus is active: Springbok's articles say they do not count, and the T&Cs void a bonus when excluded games are played before the wagering is done.
• Free chips have a clock. Under the T&Cs, a no-deposit bonus has to be redeemed within one month of being received.
• Withdrawals come later. Each deposit bonus must be fully wagered before a withdrawal, and the first withdrawal needs photo ID and a recent proof of address.
